LOGAN'S RUNWAY
o Everyone's favorite short, hairy, insanely violent mutant will be getting the solo movie treatment this May with X-Men Origins:
Wolverine. So, to celebrate, we're going running down the craziest Wolverine toys of all time...and trust us, there's plenty to choose from. Hasbro's (non-crazy) Wolverine movie toys appear on one of the covers for this issue.
SPACE TREKKING
o May will also see the big screen debut of a bold new direction for the Star Trek franchise with the launch of J.J. Abrams' pretty awesome looking new Trek film. Playmates has big plans for relaunching their Star Trek line based on the new movie,including a ton of new action figures and vehicles (we're hoping for a pre-teen Kirk with stolen car). We'll be talking to the company about what brought them back to the Trek fold. Playmates' new Star Trek figures appear on one of the covers for this issue.
TOP SECRET MATTEL PROJECT
o Shhh, don't tell anyone, but Mattel's got a great new toy line they'll be announcing at New York Toy Fair this year. We can't tell you about it now, but once you hear about it, you'll be all like, "Holy crap, how did they do that?" And lucky for you, we've got the inside scoop! Check out in-production images and interviews with the masterminds behind this brand new line that will blow you away.
